These types of guides can assist your students in understanding their specific research assignments.   • ASTRON (Eisberg) - This guide includes topic gateways on Equity/Diversity in Astronomy/Space Sciences, Cultures & Astronomy, Space Exploration & Colonization.
  • MUSIC 23, History of Rap & Hiphop - Research guide with pages on finding information on artists, musical genres & movements, as well as resources for the social/historical contexts. Includes videos showcasing navigation and research strategy tips.
  • Research with Library Resources (Vidales ENG 1C Intro to Literature) - This guide features Browzine Library in the Videos, Books, and Journals: Literary Analysis section.

Assign a library research tutorial 

• Assigning low stakes or extra credit when your students complete a research tutorial is a great way to engage your students in learning about the research process. The research tutorials are interactive, and students get an email notification for each tutorial they complete.

Assign a Credible Sources Check Activity

• This activity allows your students to find citations from a variety of sources on their chosen topic and submit via worksheet to librarians to review and provide feedback. You can also have a customized Credible Sources Check activity that fits your research assignment. Assign a Librarian Consultation

• Your students may complete a librarian consultation as part of scaffolding for major research assignments. The consultation includes option for both live and asynchronous consults. Below is an example of students requesting to meet with a librarian who is embedded in a specific course.
