Meet Christyana! Christyana Visk is our newest Chaffey College part-time adjunct librarian with interests in user experience, diversity and inclusion, and library outreach. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Ethnomusicology and her Master of Library and Information Science Degree (MLIS), both from UCLA (Go Bruins!). Christyana lived in England for several years with her husband and worked as the Archivist for the Horniman Museum and Gardens in London. When she returned to California, Christyana became the eLearning and Student Engagement Librarian at Western University of Health Sciences and developed a passion for connecting students to the library resources. As a wife and mother, Christyana understands the challenges of balancing work life, school life, and family life, and hopes that helping students create their own research strategies gives them the tools and confidence to complete their assignments.

JSTOR database provides access to full-text scholarly journals from a wide variety of fields such as ethnic studies, social sciences, art, business, economics, history, sciences, math, area studies, and language and literature. Watch the JSTOR database video to learn how to use it.
