Meet Brenda! Brenda Ramirez is a first generation, bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural college graduate. She grew up in Los Angeles, got her BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Human Development and taught school for 10 years before obtaining her Masters Degree in Library and Information Science. She's been a librarian at Chaffey College since 2009 and what she likes most about being a librarian is interacting with students, teaching them how to do research, and helping them find the resources they need. Brenda is happy to help you with any research or general Chaffey questions you may have! Fun facts about Brenda: she has a cat who thinks she's the queen of everything; she has a 94 year-old mom who has fascinating memories of how things were nearly 100 years ago; Brenda loves Disco music and all things Star Trek; her favorite genres are detective mysteries and biographies; and loves listening to history podcasts.
