Children's Book Review
Select 6 children's book pertaining to children with disabilities that is used in a school setting. Complete written reviews/analysis of each book according to the guidelines.
BOOK REVIEW PRESENTATION
During the BOOK REVIEW PRESENTATION please provide the following information:
1. What are the titles of the books you found
2. What type of disability or developmental delay does the book cover
3. Are the books selected appropriate for in class use with children? Could they be teacher or family resource?
4. Of the six reviewed, which two are your top choices and why?
Observation Report of Program Accommodating Children with Special Needs
Following completion of 3 hours on site observation of a licensed program providing services to children with special needs, complete a written "Observation Report" that includes the elements listed.

Read this publication as further guidelines in developing the lesson plan that facilitates inclusion and natural environment for children with disabilities
Lesson Plan Presentation Guidelines
Each student will develop with the group two (2) activities for children with a developmental delay or disability. Complete two (2) LESSON PLAN FORMS for each of the lesson plan activity. Each team member will be submitting both of their own Lesson Plan Forms.
Weekly Lesson Plan
After developing the two lesson plan activities please complete the Weekly Lesson Plan form. Include the two activities planned with the group and you may extend the two activities or include additional activities. Both the Weekly Lesson Plan and two Lesson Plan Forms are due for the Lesson Plan Assignment
Disabilities Research Paper Instructions
Your FINAL project is a research paper about a type of disability. Please follow the "GUIDELINES" to ensure you include all the information within your research paper. This assignment is due on the date FINAL is scheduled.
Please be advised in addition to the publisher's PowerPoint slides, instructor's PowerPoint slides (presented in class) will also be posted.
