Library Services and Support for Faculty

This guide is to assist you in providing library services and support for your courses.

Textbooks & Materials

Consider other library services to support your students with their research journey.

Textbook Reserve

stack of booksDo you have an extra copy or copies of your course textbook?

If you do, you may place your textbook(s) at any of the library locations so your students can access them. This is a great way for your students to save money.

If you currently have a textbook on reserve that requires a newer edition or if you would like to place a textbook on reserve for student use at any of the library locations, please contact us at circulation.staff@chaffey.edu or fill out the Textbook Reserves form.

Additionally, if you have a textbook on reserve that is no longer in use, please let us know so that we may remove the item from circulation. Staff is available for drop offs or pick up and to answer your questions. Please connect with us at circulation.staff@chaffey.edu or (909) 652-6807.

Zero & Low-Cost Textbook Support

The library can assist you in searching our collection for print books or eBooks, or we can purchase them via our library vendors. Connect with your ACC Library Liaison Librarian to find out your options. Check out the Zero Cost Textbook Resources guide to learn more about OER/ZTC resouces. We also encourage you to connect with your department to find recommended OER texts and learn more about Chaffey's Textbook Transformation Project.
