Meet Dr. Andrew Long! Dr. Long is the new Dean of Instructional Support overseeing the Libraries, Success Centers, Supplemental Instruction, Faculty Success Center, and Community Advising. Dr. Long began his career in 1999 working at Cal State Los Angeles as a Graduate student advisor, helping students navigate their general education requirements and assisting them with major and career selection. Since then he has worked at Cal State Dominguez Hills, Cal State Los Angeles, and Clark College in Washington State. Andrew has led advising centers, first year experience programs, academic success centers, dual enrollment programs and taught college success courses. He is motivated by stories of student success and seeing the transformative power of education. In his spare time, Andrew enjoys trivia, board games, and spending time with his family and pet dog, Kira.

Looking for your class textbook?You can check out the Library's OneSearch system to see if you can borrow a textbook for a short period of time. These short periods could be from one hour check out at the library or an overnight check out. Review the loan periods in the Check out library materials from the Circulation Desk guide.
For long-term rental periods or to buy a textbook, visit the Campus Store (bookstore) and watch the video on how to do so.
