Course Reserves are a web resource for instructors to place their syllabus, homework, notes and other documents on file for their students to access.

REQUEST A COURSE RESERVES ACCOUNT
Email Carol Hutte with the following information.

• Name
• Email Address
• The name of the class(es) for which you would like Course Reserves shell(s). 

STUDENTS: Email library@chaffey.edu for Course Reserves help.

TEXTBOOKS
The library does not purchase any textbooks.  If you would like to make your course text available in the library, please bring the item and the filled out course reserves form below to your preferred library location (Rancho, Chino, or Fontana).

LOAN PERIOD FOR RESERVE ITEMS
There are two loan periods to choose from:

• One-hour, library use; Students may renew, as long as it is not on hold by another student. 
• Overnight use; Due back the following business day.

LOCATION
There are three locations to place the textbooks:

• Rancho Cucamonga Library
• Chino Cybrary
• Fontana Cybrary

AUDIOVISUAL MATERIALS
You may place audiovisual materials on reserve; however, authorization of public viewing rights are required.

TURNAROUND TIME
Allow up to 4 business days for your materials to be fully processed and ready for your students to check out.

3C Media Solutions accounts are for the Faculty and Staff in the California Community Colleges system (CCC) and is used as a depository for videos and large files. Instructors may upload files into 3C Media and link the files for their students to view online, and students may access the videos posted by their instructors through Moodle and Eres.

ACCOUNT SET-UP
Accounts to 3C Media are free.  To request an account go to 3C Media Solutions and click on REGISTER (upper right hand corner).

FORGOT PASSWORD
To request for a new password, go to 3C Media Solutions click on Log In, then click on the Request New Password tab. (User must provide his/her username or email address. A temporary password will be sent to the email in the account.)

VIDEOS IN THE LIBRARY CATALOG
Some videos from the library's collection have been posted on 3C Media. Contact Donna Canas to see if the video you need and use is available for streaming.
